NCM plays each Stockfish dev build 20,000 times against Stockfish 7. This yields an approximate Elo difference and establishes confidence in the strength of the dev builds.

Retire Thread::BOOKED
Start a slave as soon as is allocated.
No functional change with faked split.
Regression tested the full split() series and after
2000 games no regression and no crash.
