NCM plays each Stockfish dev build 20,000 times against Stockfish 7. This yields an approximate Elo difference and establishes confidence in the strength of the dev builds.

Workaround broken function-style cast support in HP-UX
It seems HP's ANSI C++ doesn't understand very well
standard function-style cast.
Reported by Richard Lloyd.
No functional change.
