NCM plays each Stockfish dev build 20,000 times against Stockfish 15. This yields an approximate Elo difference and establishes confidence in the strength of the dev builds.

Verify SHA of downloaded net file
check SHA of the available and downloaded file.
Document the format requirement on the default net.
Also allow curl to make possibly insecure connections, as needed for old curl.
