NCM plays each Stockfish dev build 20,000 times against Stockfish 15. This yields an approximate Elo difference and establishes confidence in the strength of the dev builds.

Remove extraReduction
Since bestValue becomes value and beta - alpha is always non-negative,
extraReduction is always false, hence it has no effect.
This patch includes small changes to improve readability.
